STEP FIVE: Where and when will you cast your ballot (as early as poss)?
Get as specific as you can. For example: “I’ll drive it to a local ballot drop-off station on Oct 18th” or “I’ll create a socially-distanced parade with my neighbors and walk it to an early polling site on Oct 25th”. If you are planning to mail your ballot, experts recommend that you put it in the mail at least 3 weeks before election day on Nov 8 to avoid any USPS delays (so that means by Oct 18!). Whatever you decide, write it down and put it in your calendar. And also be sure to write down your plan B!
